Job Responsibilities

This function is to co-ordinate the Rally Programme operations and finances, to be first point of contact for both Yacht Clubs and to ensure that the Members are assisted with any Membership requirements and complaints.
Maintains an exceptional level of customer service and relations to marina customers and boat owners, to improve department profitability and efficiency.
Taking a pro-active role in the planning & execution and follow up of the marina’s rally and events.

Qualifications And Experience

Marina Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a marina or related maritime setting.
Client Relationship Management: Ability to manage and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial statements such as Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements, and competence in managing transactions including cash, bank transfers, and cheques.
Organizational Competency: Skilled in organizing and managing customer information effectively.
Customer Service Skills: Strong foundation in hospitality principles, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the marina industry and its operational standards.
Team Leadership: Experience in supervising a team, with a focus on fostering teamwork and cooperation among staff members.
Negotiation Ability: Ability to negotiate agreements and resolve conflicts effectively.
Complaint Handling: Proficiency in addressing and resolving customer issues efficiently.
Report Management: Responsibility for the timely submission of routine reports.
Decision Making: Capable of making sound decisions under pressure, with a proactive mindset.
Revenue Support: Support strategies for revenue enhancement and market competitiveness.
Language Skills: Proficiency in a second language, notably Arabic or French, is desirable.
